Clean W (bourbon whiskey) Whiskey Sour mocktail
Whiskey Sour has remained relatively unchanged over its vast history. A Whiskey Sour mocktail is traditionally made with bourbon or whiskey, lemon or lime juices, and a sweetener, like simple syrup. You will find it is not uncommon to mix in frothy egg whites as well.
Ingredients
- 50ml CLEAN W
- 25ml lemon juice
- 1 egg white (liquid form separated from the yellow yolk)
- ¾ tbsp sugar syrup, or to taste
- ice cubes
- 1 lemon slice and 1 cocktail cherry, to serve
Instructions:
Follow the measurements to add CLEAN W and the juice to a clean cocktail glass. A traditional 6 oz. or 8 oz. highball glass is perfect for these recipes, and for sipping.
- Add the lemon juice, sugar syrup, liquid egg white, to the liquid and shake aggressively.
- Pour the liquid into a sieve, cotton bag or other strainer, and strain the liquid into the glass.
- Then, fill the glass with ice cubes. Or if you would like this drink on-the-rocks, place the ice into Shaker bottle with the liquid, and shake aggressively for about 3 minutes, then poor it into an ice-free glass.
- Slice the fruit and skewer a slice or two on a toothpick, or perch the fruit on the side of the glass by pressing it down onto the side, or drop the fruit directly into your glass and allow the fruit to continue flavoring the mocktail.
