This beautiful cooler is named aptly since it is filled with fresh citrus and vegetables that create a naturally refreshing NA cooler. While it is a beverage, one can’t help but snack on the sliced healthy treats inside the glass. And it definitely makes a beautiful presentation for a garden party or bridal shower. Your guests will “oo-o-ohh” and “aaa-hhh” over this one!
Recipe serves one 12 oz Mocktail
Choose your favorite NA base beverage (12 oz. per person). This could be soda water, gingerale, refreshing flavored sparkling water, NA Vodka, Gin, Tequilla, or a delicious, Uncle Matt’s 100% organic grapefruit or orange juice. Slice up your favorite fruits and vegetables — some of our favorites include home-grown, 1/4 of an organic cucumber, 3 strawberries, 5 blueberries, 1/4 of a lemon and/or lime, and a 1/4 cup of fresh mint leaves. Wash thoroughly with a mixture of water and 1/4 tablespoon of white distilled vinegar to kill any bacteria growing on the fruit. Then mix all ingredients into a transparent, ice-filled glass and enjoy. Make sure to choose a glass that allows the beatiful display of this beverage to show through.
Parties and Get-Togethers
If you plan to share Groves and Gardens with friends and family, just multiply this 12 oz. recipe by the number of people you plan to entertain, and then double or triple that amount, since they may enjoy more than one mocktail.
10 guests x 12 ounces x 2 = 240 ounces of base beverage
10 guests x 1/4 of sliced cucumber = 10 x .25 = 2.5 cucumbers
10 guests x 3 strawberries = 30 strawberries
10 guests x 5 blueberries = 50 blueberries
10 guests x 1/4 of a lemon and/or lime = 2.5 lemons and/or limes
10 guests x 1/4 cup of fresh mint leaves = 2.5 cups of fresh mint leaves
Recipe can be adjusted to your preference, and other fruits or vegetables can also be added.
